Defendant: The Defendant will need to gather any evidence, witnesses or expert witnesses that will help them prove that the Defendant is not guilty.
Plaintiff: The Plaintiff will need to gather any evidence, witnesses or expert witnesses that will help them prove that the Defendant is guilty.
Judge: Before the case begins, the Judge will need to describe former trials relating to this case for everyone to hear. Then, the Judge will listen to the arguments from both sides, determine whether or not the Defendant is guilty and give a final ruling.
Court Reporter: The court reporter will be in charge of recording all events that occur in the courtroom and reporting it back to the public. The Court Reporter should be comfortable with recording video and combining videos together on iMovie.
After each group member chooses a role, click on the role that you chose to begin your work for the case. Once everyone has completed their role, the whole group should go to the FINAL RULING page to find out how to complete and turn in the project.
